What is the format of an MER conference and do you use live speakers?

MER conferences consist of half-day, morning sessions taught by well-respected physician specialists. All of MER’s conferences are live lectures with sufficient time for questions and answers. Each conference agenda is available on our website or through our mobile app, ‘MER PCC’.

Additionally, MER Live Stream is available to registered attendees at all conferences and may be viewed live or watched any time for up to seven (7) days following the end of the conference (attendance must be verified through your profile on our app or website one time during the live conference dates in order to access content).

Do you offer a live stream/virtual option?

Yes, MER Live Stream gives all registered attendees the option to attend the conference virtually instead of sitting in the conference room. As a registered attendee, you can utilize MER Live Stream on any internet-capable device from wherever you are. MER Live Stream videos can be viewed live or watched any time for up to seven (7) days following the end of the conference.

How does MER Live Stream work?

As a registered attendee, you will have access to MER Live Stream links by logging into your MER account profile via the MER website or mobile app ‘MER PCC’ through Conference History. If you do not remember your username or password, please contact our friendly customer service team at customerservice@mer.org or 1-800-421-3756.

Via the MER Live Stream, you will able to:

  • Watch the live conference from wherever you are.
  • Pause, rewind, and jump back to live during the live conference.
  • If attendance is verified during the conference dates, live stream links will be available for seven (7) days after the conference ends.  Please note that you will not have access to review live streams unless you verify your attendance through your profile on our app or website during live conference dates.

Can I sign up for just MER Live Stream?

MER Live Stream is included in all registrations. Simply register for your desired conference as usual. As an MER attendee you can choose how you want to attend; in-person, via MER Live Stream, or some combination of both. MER Live Stream is an option for all upcoming MER Primary Care Conferences.

How many continuing medical education credits are offered at each conference?

All MER Primary Care Conferences offer either 12, 16, or 20 continuing medical education credits. Our 3-day conferences offer 12 credits, our 4-day conferences offer 16 credits, and our 5-day conferences offer 20 credits.

How do I take advantage of your early bird registration rates?

To be eligible for the early bird rate, registrations must be confirmed by MER at least 60 days prior to the start of the conference.

How do I take advantage or your reduced hotel rates?

For each MER conference, a hotel room-block is negotiated at a reduced rate for conference participants. Reservations for hotel accommodations at the reduced rate may be made through the reservation link listed under “Hotel Reservation Information” associated with each conference on the MER website or by calling the hotel directly and providing the MER Group Code. Space is limited in our negotiated room-block. Early reservations are recommended to ensure accommodations.

Due to the popularity of these programs and facilities, we cannot guarantee hotel accommodations. Availability and rates are subject to change once room-blocks are filled.

How many rooms can I reserve in MER’s discounted room block?

To ensure fair access to room reservations within the MER room block, registered attendees are limited to reserving a maximum of two rooms within the MER room block. This limit applies to any type of room, including standard rooms, suites, or any other room category available within the room block. In exceptional circumstances, attendees may request an exemption from this policy. Such requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and approval or denial will be at the discretion of MER based on the availability and specific circumstances.

Do I have to stay at the conference hotel?

No. You are not required to stay at the MER conference hotel.

Where can I find a receipt for my registration?
